Regional Transportation Improvement Program (RTIP)

The Regional Transportation Improvement Program (RTIP) is a document that details the transportation projects including highways, local roads, transit and active transportation that the region will fund with state and federal revenues. The RTIP is developed biennially by each region and sent to the California Transportation Commission by December 15th of every odd numbered year. The RTIP includes a subset of the fiscally constrained transportation projects from the Regional Transportation Plan and must be consistent with the State Transportation Improvement Program.
