Regional Corridor Needs Study (RCNS)KCAG has prepared the Regional Corridor Needs Study for the Hanford-Lemoore urbanized areas within Kings County. The study intended to analyze the current and future performance of state highway facilities, identify deficiencies, prioritize transportation improvement needs, propose interim and long term alternatives to address and the needs, and provide implementation strategies. The study has identified nine priority locations with needs, and developed short-term, mid-term, and long-term improvements at each of the locations. All alternatives were compared against each other to determine the highest priority projects based upon the relative benefits and costs of the improvements.
