The greenprint is an effort to better integrate open space and agricultural preservation into a similar planning process as the bottoms up Blueprint effort. The greenprint utilizes GIS mapping and other technical resources to better integrate parks, open space, and agricultural lands into land use planning efforts.

Kings County remains ahead of the curve with the Kings County 2035 General Plan already containing an open space preservation plan. The greenprint will complement this effort and provide additional technical resources for planners throughout the Valley.
