Addendum to the 2022 Program Environmental Impact Report

KCAG is preparing an Addendum to the 2022 Program Environmental Impact Report (EIR) for the 2026 Regional Transportation Plan (RTP) and Sustainable Communities Strategy (SCS). KCAG certified the 2022 RTP/SCS PEIR in September of 2022.  The Addendum analyzes proposed modifications to the 2022 RTP/SCS per the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) Guidelines. It will demonstrate that all the potential environmental impacts associated with the proposed modifications are within the scope of impacts already evaluated in the Certified RTP/SCS PEIR. The Addendum will be submitted for review and consideration by the Board before making a decision on the 2026 RTP/SCS.

A public information/EIR Scoping meeting was held on October 1, 2025, at 2:00 pm via Zoom.  A 30-day public review and comment period took place on September 24, 2025, and concluded on October 24, 2025, at 5:00 pm.
