Welcome to KCAG!
The Kings County Association of Governments (KCAG) is a metropolitan planning organization (MPO) for the Kings County region. We are a joint powers authority whose member agencies include the county of Kings and the cities of Avenal, Corcoran, Hanford and Lemoore. KCAG serves as a pass-through agency for transit and transportation funding. Additionally, KCAG serves as a coordinating body for issues that are multi-jurisdictional and interregional in nature.
State Route 198 Corridor Preservation & Strategic Plan
The purpose of the State Route (SR) 198 Corridor Preservation & Strategic Plan is to look at the economic trends, goods movement, transportation corridor analysis and future design of this important east-west connector in the Counties of Fresno, Kings, and Tulare. The consultant team will be presenting their SR 198 analysis and taking public comment. Please attend a workshop or public presentation as detailed below. The same information and format will be used for the 3 workshops and the public presentation will utilize a condensed workshop presentation.
